Emily Konkler
Emily was born and raised in southeast Ohio, and was introduced to hunting and the outdoors at a very young age by her grandfather and father. Her father guided big game hunts in Idaho for 36 years, so hunting quickly became natural to her. Emily harvested her first buck at age 12, and then began hunting with a compound bow at age 13 and never looked back. Emily has taken it upon herself to chase whitetails and big game with archery equipment for over 17 years now, and has harvested two black bear, turkey, and numerous whitetails over 150 inches including “The Freak” which broke the 190 inch mark!

Emily continued her passion for wildlife and forestry by pursuing a degree in natural resources and graduated from Hocking College in 2012 with a degree in Wildlife Sciences. She has worked for the ODNR as a Natural Resource Specialist, done wildlife management consulting work, as well as worked as a Bookkeeper at a financial institution for over eight years.

When Emily is not hunting or working, she spends her time sharing her experiences and knowledge with others through writing, podcasts, and photography.  Emily is social media contributor and writer for Petersen’s Bowhunting Magazine, as well as photographer and content creator for On X Hunt Maps and other leading brands in the hunting industry. She has also been a featured on Working Class Bowhunter Podcast, The Bowhunting Podcast, and Scheels Outdoor Podcast sharing her bow hunting experiences.

With Emily’s years of experience in land/wildlife management, passion of growing mature whitetails and financial experience, Emily will be a great asset to anyone looking to fulfill that lifelong dream of purchasing their own property or selling an existing one.
